I have been working on a series of Litho collages. This one is on show as part of Bainbridge Open 2013, a print exhibition at the Embassy Tea Gallery this week. See here for details.

I just finished the design for the cover of The Orchard of Lost Souls by Nadife Mohamed, wich will be published in August this year by Simon & Schuster. At a celebration held at the British Council earlier this week, Granta announced its once-in-a-decade selection of 20 best British novelists aged under 40. Nadifa is one of the shortlisted authors. Go here for BBC press coverage of the Granta and an interview with Nadif Mohamed. I have illustrated my first children's book and it's fresh off the press. 'Das Leuchten des Lächelns' by German writer Ilke zu Wied will be available later this month. I am currently redesigning my website and will be posting full spreads on www.lynnhatzius.com very soon.

Illustrating Children's Books

Some of my work and a profile are featured in this wonderful book by children's illustrator and author Martin Ursell (...who is also most likely the best tutor I ever had at Art School!). Soundtree Music

It's the new year and I hope you've had a good start to 2013. I just wanted to share this Christmas mail-out I designed for soundtree music in December. It even inspired them to compose their own carol and have it made into a music box.
